This review is from: Black & Decker EHC650B Ergo 3-Cup Food Chopper (Kitchen) I wanted a small little chopper to make my own salsa..just a few cups at a time, and this one fills that bill okay. The one problem I have is it does not chop up the tomatoes completely. After running it PLENTY of times and dumping out the salsa, there are always BIG chunks of tomatoes unchopped in the mix. I end up putting those chunks BACK in the chopper and hitting them again. A minor little glitch, but slightly annoying. I have to experiment with putting less material in the chopper and see if that helps...but then I end up taking just as long and is equal trouble as rechopping the unchopped pieces. Also, it doesn't really "chop" up the food. It is more of a blender type consistency when its done. 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Black & Decker EHC650B Ergo 3-Cup Food Chopper (Kitchen) This was our second chopper, the first one finally stopped working after 7 years and practically daily use. It was a great staple for our kitchen I used it almost every day, chopping, mixing, making smoothies, baby food, you name it. I can't believe the first one lasted as long as it did, we really beat the tar out of it. I was excited to see they still sold them, we ordered one the same day the first one broke.

This review is from: Black & Decker EHC650B Ergo 3-Cup Food Chopper (Kitchen) As I was excitedly opening up the package to this product, I noticed a warning (written in extremely fine print on the bottom of the box) that there is LEAD in this product and you must wash your hands after touching the power cord. After doing some research, I discovered that B&D also put lead in its hand mixer..I now have to throw that out as well. It is inexcusable that B&D knowingly puts lead in their products. . |
