Summary: High hopes 2010-04-28
Comment: I purchased the B&D Food Processor hoping to find an easy to use, easy to clean processor with a capacity to hold at least 2 cups of volume. This product has a good blade, which some do not have, but it is bulkier than I expected. I think they could have designed a more compact unit with the same features. As it is, it takes up a lot of room on my counter.

Summary: Poor Quality! 2010-03-03
Comment: This is very poor quality, the lid cracked and broke very easily. To replace the lid it will cost $20 and I am not sure it will be worth it as the new one is probably just as flimsy. Also, it doesn't work well with more "liquidy" mixes as some of the mixture will spray out of the side, even if the guard is in place. I honestly wish I had splurged on something a little nicer and not wasted $40 on this piece of machinery that is more than likely headed to a landfill somewhere.

Summary: Broke with first use 2010-02-28
Comment: I received this as a gift, and the first time I used it the plastic piece on the container that switches the unit on broke off. I went to turn it to the on position, and it turned on then the switch piece broke off and the machine kept going. Had to unplug it, and meanwhile food all over the counter. I would NOT recommend this to anyone - spend a little more and get one that works!

Summary: Broke before it was ever used 2010-02-17
Comment: I only gave this product a one, because a zero was not an option. This processor is difficult to put together and broke the first time I tried. The plastic bowl and chute are cheaply made and it shakes when it is used. I would not recommend this product to anyone. This is absolutely the worst kitchen gadget I own, bar none.

Summary: Gift purchase 2010-02-10
Comment: I have no first-hand knowledge of product. Gift recipient says it's working well but has not used it much, yet.
