I have to admit that I bought this to use for grinding up hard dog food. My little dog has a tendency to swallow her small bits of dry dog food whole. I have tried everything from putting cleaned large rocks in her bowl to the expensive dog food bowls with the raised center in them to soaking her food (which you have to remember to put it in to soak in water at least an hour before eating time) to slow her down. Nothing seemed to work. I had an Ultimate Chopper that I used for years but it finally broke and of course for some reason you cannot buy them anymore. I found this Chef Pro and it works great!! Just 4 pulses and her food is in tiny pieces that she can swallow without it making her sick. Thank you Chef Pro !!!

I love this chopper so much, I bought two!!!!! I use one when preparing meals for my family and the other to prepare food for my dog. He has allergies and requires a special diet. I've used many different choppers and this is the world's best. Easy to use, easy to clean and easy on the pocketbook!
