Product Review

Meet your most versatile kitchen tool. Chops, mixes, purées, emulsifies, slices, shreds, and kneads. This is the most versatile food prep tool you'll ever own. The oversized 14-cup workbowl conveniently processes more at one time. Extra-large feed tube speeds up prep time. The Supreme wide mouth feed tube is big enough to place whole fruits and vegetables side by side; larger capacity virtually eliminates precutting. The cover removes with ease. Improved interlock system lets you remove cover with one hand. Just twist and lift. Knead dough in seconds. Cuisinart's patented dough control technology with metal dough blade kneads up to 3 pounds of dough in seconds. It is easy to clean. All removable parts are dishwasher safe, and housing easily wipes clean. Lots of power. A 3/4 horsepower motor delivers 720 Watts to handle batch after batch of heavy dough. Style and simplicity, elegantly simple. Streamlined Italian styling creates the perfect look for contemporary, function-focused kitchens. Fully compatible. Works with all existing Cuisinart 14-cup blades, discs and accessories. Full 10-year motor warranty.

This review is from: Cuisinart 14-cup PowerPrep Plus Food Processor (Kitchen)
This is a terrific food processor except for the work bowl. The locking trigger jams and eventually breaks, and it's difficult to find a replacement (DON"T order a bowl listed as simply a DLC 2014 bowl -- despite what vendors say, it won't match the lid.). Cuisinart has known about this problem for years, but hasn't addressed it. I notice Amazon and other places have it at a deep discount -- maybe Cuisinart is addressing the issue by discontinuing it.
