Blender leaks,

We purchased this item for ourselves at Christmas. The blender and small food processor seem to work fine. The blender, however, leaks from the bottom of the blender jar every time we have tried to make a smoothie or milkshake. It makes quite a mess in the blender base as well as on the kitchen counter. Disappointing since this is the main use of a blender in our home. The rubber ring seems fine. I will be contacting Cuisinart about this problem.

This product is nice looking but it lacks a lot. The very first negative thing I have to say about it is it's EXTREMELY loud. At first, I thought there was something wrong with it. It was so loud that I didn't want my toddler coming in to the kitchen when it was on and I even had to step back from it. Also, the design of the glass blender is square which made a mess when pouring into a narrow glass. I returned it to Cosco and bought a kitchenaid food processor for only 6 bucks more.

Don't even think about buying this blender/food processor!
I got mine at Costco and I had to take the kids away from the kitchen when my wife fired this thing up for the first time: It is extremely loud!
The high pitch sound is deafening and ear plugs to operate it are a must. It's like a 747-200 taking off right next to you.
I'm really surprised that the Underwriter Labs has approved this garbage.
