Comment: I like all the features of this food processor, which I'm still experimenting with, but so far the best for me is the quick make up of pastry and bread dough! Great machine, wish I had it when my kids were growing up!

Summary: VERY DISAPPOINTED 2008-11-07
Comment: I've had my Cuisinart food processor almost 2 years. A few weeks ago, the center spindle just froze. The motor continued to hum, but the spindle didn't move. I called Cuisinart, hoping to find a local repair shop that could fix it. NOPE!!! You have to ship it back to Cuisinart, with no quaranty that anything can be done. So, my expensive state-of-the-art food processor sits - not working. I was VERY disappointed with Cuisinart. I had heard horror stories of their lack of customer service, but really didn't believe them. Well, I DO NOW!!! So I am now finished with Cuisinart.

Comment: This is a good machine, although it is difficult to use on a regular basis. It seems a little backwards from the other food processors I've used, so I continually assemble it wrong and have to re-arrange it. Also, I don't like the fact that it won't start unless the food pressor is in, and not just sitting on top, but it has to make a connection. That means, I have to take stuff out and chop it smaller, which is defeating the point of using this big, heavy duty machine.
Other than that, it does a great job.

Comment: I bought this as a gift for my wife 2 years ago and she absolutely LOVES it. She doesn't use it every day or even every week, but when she uses it she raves about how wonderful it is. I got it at a great price, and Cuisinart is a great brand you can trust. You will be thankful for the capacity of this processor and you will appreciate the stainless steel finish. It looks great, and is easy to clean also. Great product.
