Euro-Pro KP81E Twin-Blade Food Processor with Blender

This food prep center conveniently offers both food processor and blender functions in one appliance. Running at 600 watts, the unit is fairly quiet considering its power and offers two levels of speed plus a pulse button. The food processor uses a unique double chopping blade that promotes faster and finer chopping. The processor’s bowl holds up to 1-1/2 liters of food and has a feed tube with a pusher in its lid for adding vegetables for shredding or for pouring oils or liquids into a sauce. A safety lock on the lid prevents the food processor from operating until the lid is secure. The processor comes with a main blade for chopping and mincing vegetables, a double chopping blade for chopping harder foods such as meats or hard cheeses, and a plastic blade for kneading dough. Other accessories include a spatula and six square discs that pop into one of two round disc holders to slice (thin or wide), julienne, or grate (fine, medium, or coarse). The discs store safely in a covered compartment that mounts on top of the food processor’s lid.

Convenient for puréeing soups, baby food, or sauces, the blender holds about 1-3/4 liters and has a convenient measuring cup on the side of the pitcher. The blender locks into place for safety and, when not in use, has a hinged safety cover that goes over the motor. The whole unit has nonslip feet to keep it from sliding on a counter and a cord storage area underneath the blender side of the appliance.
