The headboard is attractive, with a nice matte finish. But, it would not attach to our queen bed frame. The holes did not line up. And it is WAY to short! We have a pillow top mattress on a standard metal bed frame. Only about 6 inches of the head board shows above the mattress. When regular pillows are placed on the bed, practically none of the headboard shows. There is no reason to even have a headboard if it doesn't show. We will have to mount it to the wall or stand it on blocks.
