KitchenAid KFPPS Parmesan and Ice Grating Disc

I had been using one of the standard blades on my food processor to grate parmesan cheese and was happy with the results. Had I known what a difference this made, I would have ordered it earlier! The grated cheese has a very light texture and goes a lot further than using my other blade. I very highly recommend this blade if you like fresh grated parmesan cheese.

I LOVE this disc for making shaved ice. Put cubes in at the top and out comes fluffy snow, great for snow cones (add some syrup) or shaved ice to help upset stomachs.

I haven't used this disc for ice, but it is a miracle worker for hard cheeses. It is not as light and airy as a Microplane, but it is light and fluffy. If you need a large amount for a recipe, this will take minutes off your prep time. I have no regrets about this purchase.
