It's a perfectly adequate food processor... So long as you aren't blending liquids. Then, expect your salad dressing, borscht, pea soup or whatever to leak out around the seal of bowl and lid, and make a slimy mess for you to clean up. Ick. But if all you're doing is chopping onions, slicing potatoes, or making a batch of noodle or bread dough, it's fine. Homemade mayonnaise, Caesar salad dressing, or cream soups, not so much.

Finally had the opportunity to use this food processor since receiving it. I LOVE it! Like the looks, the ease of operation and cleaning it is easier than I anticipated. It won't be collecting dust in my kitchen!KitchenAid KFPW763OB Onyx Black 12-Cup Food Processor

I purchased the 12 cup Kitchen Aid Food Processor with all the attachments a couple of years ago (a previous model), and it was a great machine, but within a year the blade failed, so I ordered a replacement. It was backordered, and has been on backorder for over a year, making my machine inoperable. They finally admitted that they no longer manufacture this part, since it is an older model. It is unconscionable to me that they no longer make parts for previous models, especially a part that seems so prone to failure.
