Magic Bullet BER-0601 Bullet Express Trio 3-in-1 Blender System

I own this product and would not, repeat would not recommend it. The motor overheats easily and well under the cautionary three minute time stated in the directions. It will run again AFTER SITTING TO COOL OVERNIGHT. Mine overheated after about a minute pulsing pre softened ice cream. Seriously.

The juicer does not do the job, it doesn't even come close to extracting all the juice from tomatoes or cooked elderberries which should not be much of a challenge. The pulp cup is tiny and fills quickly with juice laden pulp. I put the tomatoes through the Bullet three times before setting up my other juicer and still got juice from the "pulp" when I put it through that.The pieces do not fit tightly together which allows some of what little juice it does extract to spray in a pretty fan pattern across the front of whatever shirt you are wearing, including the sleeves so don't bother with an apron.

I was really excited to find the Bullet Express Trio on Amazon, and not pay for the pricier one from the infomercial. Apparently they are two separate machines because the things they advertised and did in the infomercial, this machine would not do at home. Not even close. I actually thought the brand had a good reputation based on the Magic Bullet blenders. The construction of the Bullet Express was much cheaper though, as the first unit arrived with a crack in the thin, hard plastic housing. We had it replaced, then tried the juicing, shredding, and slicing functions. The juice leaked/ran everywhere, not through the spout into the cup like it was designed to do (yes it was assembled correctly...we even read the instructions). The shredding turned into mincing/puree (again, we read the instructions). And the slicing...don't even get me started on the slicing. I purchased this machine when they just came out with it. I love everything that it does and it is by far my favorite kitchen system My complaint is poor quality - motor, handles, etc all break. My suggestion is to buy it directly from the Magic Bullet website as they provide 1 year warranty which comes in handy given this system's quality.
