Amazon.com Review
When not in use, this 450-watt food processor sits on an oval plastic box that stores all the processor's various blades and accessories--with the exception of the citrus juicing attachment. It has a 6-cup work bowl that locks quickly and easily to the power base with the twist of a knob that also sets the processor for either continuous or pulse operation. Unlike most processors, the bowl doesn't have a funnel in the center through which the post driving blades protrudes. Instead, driven by a gear in the bowl's bottom, the post is removable. That permits easier cleaning of the bowl, though the presence of the gear somewhat negates the advantage. One clear advantage is the bowl's drip-resistant pouring lip. Another is the leak-resistant seal on the lid, which has a dual feed tube with small and large openings.
In addition to the basic stainless-steel chopping blade, two slicing blades and two shredding blades (all stainless steel), a plastic dough kneader, and a plastic disk for beating egg whites and whipping cream accompany the processor. Also included are a plastic spatula and an instruction booklet with 40 basic recipes. The plastic bowl and lid and all accessories are dishwasher-safe. Sitting on the storage box, the processor measures 9-1/4 inches wide, 14-1/4 inches high, and 14 inches deep. It's clad in plastic and easily wipes clean. --Fred Brack
Summary: Very Breakable - Safety Hazard! 2005-07-10
Comment: If you only ever have to use this food processor for the softest possible foods, then it's for you. If you ever had hopes of slicing carrots, potatoes or zucchini - stay away!
Because potatoes were just too much for it, my lid broke and I had to pay for a replacement from TFal. When the new lid broke again (on the first use), I decided to call it quits and have had to spend more money on a better processor.
For the record, replacement parts are expensive and hard to come by! Try a different processor if you're not looking for a hassle!

Summary: So far, So good 2004-11-11
Comment: I have spent a long time looking for a single unit to replace my way out of date Oster Kitchen Center. That thing takes up way to much valuable storage space! I've only had this Kaleo for about a week now, (it stays out on my counter) but I can say that I am very pleased with it so far. I have used it to make cookie dough, cake mix (both mixed with the dough attachment so the chocolate chips wouldn't get chopped up), pancakes, smoothies (the unit is sealed very well so you can use it for liquids without it leaking) and to whip up some skim milk with a little chocolate syrup (a good, quick desert but milk must be very cold). I have made tuna with chopped onions with the pulse setting. I have also grated potatoes for potato pancakes. Next, I am going to try making sweet potato pudding. I'm sure it will do a great job. I have not used the included juicer yet so I can't comment on that attachment. This processor works like a charm. It is very easy to clean and storage is nice and neat (everything fits inside the base, except the juicer). I have not had any problem with it leaking because there is a seal around the lid and the bottom of the bowl is completely sealed as well. I would definitely recommend this unit to people with limited storage or counter space or to anyone who wants a great all in one processing and blending unit.

Summary: Worked great until it broke! 2004-08-05
Comment: I loved my food processor and used it every weekend. Then after a few months, the plastic ring that keeps it from leaking broke. I'd still love the food processor if I could ever find out how to replace the broken part. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any of the info that arrived in the package and have no clue how to find a new part and have not had any success so far searching the Internet. I hope I don't have to buy a new one. If I can ever find a replacement part, I'll buy several because I want to keep using this product.

Summary: Poor costumer service!! 2004-05-08
Comment: I am very dissapointed about this product! It worked once and then broke and would not do anything! Packed it up and sent it back to the company. They sent it back saying there's nothing wrong with it. It worked once and it's broken AGAIN!! I'm spending more money on packaging and mailing, then the whole thing cost! From now on I would be very careful to buy anything from T-Fal!

Summary: Very nice, but cuts a bit dull 2004-04-02
Comment: This is really a very nice unit. It's practical to store, looks attractive, and is quiet - a great improvement over the previous one (different manufacturer) that we owned. The only problem we have is that it doesn't cut the food easily. I'm not sure if the blades are just dull, or if the motor doesn't move as fast as others. But we have to put our food through several cycles sometimes in order to get it ground up.
