Summary: People should be careful what they put their names on 2010-02-27
Comment: I received this as a gift for Christmas. When I first saw the box, I right away thought it was hokey, but saw T-FAL made it so it might have a chance (since they are a well know company). The food processor works just fine, the idea of keeping all the blades and attachment in a drawer is a great idea.

However..

The blender is weak( I had a $50 already so I chucked the Emeril one to save space), the citrus juicer is junk ( feels like it is going to break if you apply too much pressure to it, so that went for a little walk to the garbage as well), the juicer attachment is a JOKE! I used it this morning to see if it might work, I went through 6 carrots, 1 apple and a knob of ginger and got about a 1/3 cup to just and a half cup of pulp. The machine uses a plastic round with tiny teeth to kind of grind away at the fruits, but really uinless your using grapes or oranges you would prolly get more juice smashing the produce with a hammer. Oh yes, and cleaning it? Forget about it. That too made a quick exit (I might be a little spoiled about the juicer, I used to have a Jack Lalaine power juicer, if your on the market for a juicer, that is the one to get). All that being said, This is a good food processor, with a cheese grater. Save your money for a nice food processor. It's a good thing that I already owned a Emeril frying pan that is good, because if this was my first Emeril product, It sure would be my last. I would never put my name on something I personally didn't believe in and use.

Comment: I bought this product in February of 2009 at a great price. I was happy with all the features and its capabilities. However, today May 7, 2009, I went to make a smoothie, and I was shocked that my machine would not even cut on. I tried a different outlet, and no action. I called T-Fal customer service. They told me that I would have to mail the product in at my expense to have it serviced. I then called the place I originally ordered it from and they are giving me a complete refund for the food processor. I am thankful for that since it has been over 30 days. Though I will miss my food processor, I feel ripped off by T-Fal. BUYER BEWARE if you are planning on using your machine on a rather NORMAL basis!!

Summary: T FAL BAM Machine 2009-02-12
Comment: Personally I wish I had purchased a Cuisinart. The built-in storage drawer is a great idea but the owners manual leaves something to be desired, The use directions are very limited but "Hey" they do include an eclectic recipe card collection of seven different uses/recipes, whoopee. There are a number of attachments, blades, etc but the way they lock or don't lock or how some of them attach and work is pretty sloppy, like the emulsifier egg whipper, it is loose on the spindle and when you hit the power it slams into a plastic stop which I can already see issues with broken plastic parts, hopefully there will be replacement parts in the near future because I am certain I will be in the market for them. I will say that the blender does work well but a good blender can be had for a lot less money. It was purchased for the mutiple attachments and functions and the hope to eliminate some of the electric gadgets now cluttering our counter tops and consolidate into one machine. So far I have not been impressed during usage.
