Product Description
Kick your cutting board to the curb with the Wolfgang Puck 4-Cup Continuous Flow Food Processor. Chop, mix, puree, emulsify, shred, slice and more, and do it all with the controlled precision of the pulse/continuous button and stainless steel discs. Make raspberry sauce, homemade peanut butter, pesto, crepes, vinaigrette, potato chips, pizza dough, pasta dough and so much more. You can even keep track of ingredients as you add them using the measurement markings on the food pusher. And for times when you're entertaining a larger group of guests, use the ejector disc to process more than 4 cups and the continuous flow lid, disc and flow stopper to process foods into a separate container. Once you're done crafting your best culinary creations, you can store all the accessories (and even the cord) right in the machine. Black, white, blue or red.
What is Refurbished?
When a product is refurbished, it is made to look like and operate as a brand new item should. Many times it is as simple as the box being opened by mistake or for quality checks. Once the box has been opened, that item cannot be sold as new. Items with serious malfunctions are not refurbished, it would cost too much to refurbish them to 'like new' condition. Each refurbished item we feature is completely inspected, rerun down the production line and triple checked for quality before being packed and shipped. Most of the time the only difference between new and refurbished is the brown box and the lower price, which is your gain as an educated consumer.

Summary: Awful customer service 2010-04-08
Comment: I bought a Wolfgang Puck food processor back in December through HSN. On March 18th. I called WP Productions for warranty work on my Wolfgang Puck food processor. After only 3 months the motor had already wore out, even using it according to the owners manual.
My first call I reached a male who took my information, verified my order with HSN, took $12.95 from my credit card for shipping, and instructed me to cut off the cord and mail it to their Hollywood, FL P.O. Box. I did as instructed that same day.
After waiting several days, still no food processor. I called again and reached the same guy. He said that they had not received my cord yet and to give it a couple more days.
After more time passed I called for the third time. It took me a few tries to reach a human. Either the phone number was busy or I was disconnected. Finally I reached Tina. She told me the same story I had gotten before that they had not received the cord, even though I knew enough time had passed for any mail to have been received between South Carolina and Florida. I asked her when to call back and she said by Friday it would have been received. I told her I would hold her to that and she assured me that by Friday the cord would be received.
On that Friday I called again. I reached Tina and guess what, no cord. Again I had been mislead by WP Productions. Tina told me I needed to cut off the rest of the cord and mail it in again. This time I put a tracking on the envelope. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call me back.
That evening I spoke with Sylvia. She instructed me to send a photo of the now cordless food process and e mail it to her. I did so and still have not heard back other than the usual form type email that goes out I'm sure to anyone who e mails them.
My fifth and last call was on April 7th, 2010 and I spoke with Grant. He told me the order still has not been released, but they did receive my picture.
This is by far the worst customer service I have every experienced with a company. First a quality product with the name of a super star chef should not quit working after three months of use. Second the company used by this star chef should at least follow average customer service standards. I hope one day to have my food processor replacement, but I guarantee there will never be another new Wolfgang Puck item in my home. I will also tell everyone I know to steer clear of this awful company.

Summary: Poor quality motor 2010-02-23
Comment: I purchased this food processor from The Shopping Channel in Canada. I'm very disappointed that, with only occasional use, the motor gave out after a little over 2 years. I liked the small size and different chopping options, but if an appliance can't last longer than a couple of years, what's the point? Don't waste your money. Spend a bit more for quality.

Summary: Great consept VERY POOR QUALITY. 2009-12-26
Comment: I have several WP small counter top appliances. Every one of them have died. I purchased this little (reconditioned) here on Amazon. And when I received it. The motor turned on, but that was it. The gears and shaft that drive/spin the cutting discs, are made out of very poor quality plastic, and basically just continue to grind down with use, until the sprocket teeth are sheered off. And therefore, the unit is rendered useless. I watched the demo Wolf did on a home shopping network show. And the demo went well, and the idea/concept is great. But the overall product manufacturing is awful. The seller I purchased the unit from sent a replacement (reconditioned) unit. However, within 10 or so uses. The plastic drive sprocket/gear again gave out. And I had only used the machine for slicing cucumbers. Cucumbers that had been already cut in half, in order to fit in to the feed tube. If the manufacture fixes the (plastic) drive gear issue, with either a metal gear, or a more durable heavy duty plastic gear. Then this machine, just might be a better product. Until then, its just poor quality, and a waste of money. But as I said. Mr. P really needs to get his small appliances manufactured of much better quality. Or perhaps just stick to cooking. However, I'm noticing many newer appliances, even well known name brand appliances. Are being produced with very poor quality/cheap materials. High prices and cheap quality, does not set well with me. Nor most consumers.

Comment: Broke after first time used. I was surprised being endorsed by a known name and what used to be a good brand.
Buyer beware.

Summary: Purchased used--worked one time 2009-04-11
Comment: I realized I was taking a chance buying this appliance "used." It worked once, chopping cabbage to mush, instead of cole slaw. The top is very difficult to close. Although I was very careful, it won't even start anymore. I don't recommend this product.
